Do Men Just Want Mommy?

Marueen Dowd wrote an article for the NY Times recently entitled: "Men Just Want Mommy." She claims that accomplished women are losers in romance because successful men tend to marry women who are not their equals. She noticed a trend for famous and powerful men to take up with the young women whose job it was to care for them in some way: secretaries, assistants, nannies, caterers, flight attendants, etc.

Dowd wonders does this mean "the more women achieve, the less desirable they are?" My local paper, The Oregonian, published the article and titled it: "Accomplished Women Losers in Romance!"
