If Women Are Worshipped

I'm always distressed when I hear women say that they don't want to be worshipped. It's difficult for me to understand why ANY woman would NOT love to be worshipped and adored by the man she loves.
There are two aspects to being worshipped as a woman. One is personal; the other is universal. Every good man has within him a desire to honor the highest qualities of the Feminine embodied in the best women: compassionate, receptive, nurturing, loving.
When you have genuine respect for women you enjoy making small gestures of respect and service to every female you meet. You open doors, retrieve an item from a shelf she can't reach, and are polite, even gallant in your everyday manner. Doing these things for women who are strangers and may never cross your path again is a wonderful way to express your respect for the Universal Feminine.
Women in our society have been so indoctrinated to being helpers and sacrificing for others that they have great difficulty accepting compliments or admiration. Some women have become fiercely independent in an attempt to avoid being a doormat. They won't accept any simple gesture of helpfulness from a man. They won't even let you open the door for them!
What they don't understand is that they are doing you a real disservice when they won't accept your help or your compliments. They are depriving you of an opportunity to express respect to the Feminine Principle that they represent to you. And sadly, they are lacking respect for the very thing that is at their core as a woman.
Women need to realize that a man's desire to worship his woman is not based on the false premise that she must be perfect, but on the fact that the mystery of creation lives in her body and the mystery of love lives in her soul. You love the less-than-perfect real human being on a personal level but you also love the glorious image of womanhood that she represents to you.
If your lady is an other-oriented Earth Mother who has difficulty accepting the idea of worship, perhaps this concept of the personal on one level and the universal on another could help her be more accepting. She might let you treat her as a Goddess if she sees it as a role she is playing. Most women could play at being a Goddess for at least a little while!

I think the quote from Nicole Kidman is right on the money. Research has shown that the most successful relationships are ones where the man is flexible and will defer to his wife/girlfriend.
I am a man who loves to defer to women-to bring them drinks, open doors, and get their coats, anything that will make life a little easier for them. My biggest thrill is when I can sense that a woman is on to my desire to serve her. A knowing smile from a woman when I perform some small task to help her brings me true bliss.
I truly believe that Women are nature's finest creation and should be treated accordingly!
