The river you see is a channel of the Columbia River in Portland, Oregon. This is the view from the parking lot. Our house is on the left with the blue roof and red door.

It's just like a boat moorage here, but we all have houses and boats. You have to walk down a ramp and along the boardwalk to get to the house. We have a wonderful view across the river to Hayden Island.

It's much like Sleepless in Seattle but not as pricey to live in Portland. We love it here.
