Our Theme Song
We now have an official (official because I said so!) theme song , titled "My Madonna." Here's the chorus. Memorize these words:

Oh, finding this song has really made my day! Don't most great social movements have a theme song? Well, now we've got ours!

Are those lyrics perfect or what? Don't they describe exactly how you feel about your goddess. I LOVE this song! I wish I could claim authorship of this little gem but actually it was written by Dexter Freebish (must be a Comet Man!). I have ordered his album and will be contacting him soon to let him know of his incredible good fortune. Perhaps he'll let me put an audio clip of part of the song on the Venus on Top website.

With lyrics like these, this must be a great song. I'd love to hear it. It just shows how Woman Power is making it's way into our popular culture.
I recently saw an advertisement on TV for a local bank. A young woman is looking straight into the camera with her hands on her hips, proclaiming to all the world what services she demands from a checking account. The woman has a real sassy attitude, and her demeanor shouts out; "I will be served!" I feel this is yet another example of the growth of the strong Female character in popular culture. I believe that Female Power is here and it's here to stay.
As a confirmed "Comet Man" myself, I couldn't be happier.
